Jonathan was born in the Dominican Republic. "I believe that dancing is in my blood and culture and I was fortunate enough to be raised in this manner all my life. My childhood was spent at family parties dancing with my relatives."

In school in the USA, Jonathan was president of the Hispanic club where he showcased Latin culture in talent shows of music, drama and dance. At the age of 15 he became an entertainment host at various locations throughout Boston, providing music and dance instruction. He began formally teaching at 19 in Summer Camp programs. Jonathan is currently a psychology major at UMASS Boston.

Jonathan see's joining the FADS Norwood Team as an opportunity to continue his study of the art of communication through his passion for dance.
